The Best Korean Toner For Dry Skin - Mugwort Essence
Mugwort has become a super popular ingredient in korean skincare for a while now and rightfully so! It has anti-inflammatory properties, is rich in antioxidants and is for dry skin, sensitive and acne-prone skin, it also helps to combat damage from environmental stress. Formulation: Formulated without parabens, silicone, ethanol, artificial colour, essential oils and fragrance. The I'm From Mugwort Essence is 100% Mugwort Extract, aka Artemisia Princeps Extract.

Highlights: It is a beautiful product with a very simple ingredient: Mugwort extract! This is the perfect toner/essence to pat into the skin for something gentle, to calm redness, irritation and dryness. Suitable for most skin types but especially so for dry or sensitive skin.
You can use this daily as a toner/essence or use on a soaked cotton pad as a mini mask pack. I have sensitive cheeks and a bit of rosacea and applying this like a mini mask has helped reduced redness for me. But you can just use it on a cotton pad to wipe away any impurities after cleansing.
What does I'm From Mugwort Essence do?
The I'm From Mugwort Essence is a soothing essence made with the single ingredient of Mugwort Extract aka Artemisia Princeps Extract. The refreshing, fluid (almost watery) formula adheres and absorbs into the skin to soothe sensitive skin and recharge moisture from within.
After halfway through the bottle, I do feel that this does calm my skin and has very apparently reduced my redness around the cheek area. It feels so nice on the skin.

Basically, it's supposed to be soothing, anti-inflammatory, helps skin retain moisture and act as an antioxidant as well. Very similar to the benefits of Centella Asiatica (I wrote about it in another review: SKIN1004 Centella Ampoule, also a great product for dry skin).
Using this korean toner for dry skin
After cleansing, dispense an appropriate amount and gently pat it over your face to aid absorption. For an intensified soothing effect, soak a few cotton pads with the essence and place them over irritated skin areas as a mask pack. It's gentle enough for daily use, replacing your regular toner or serum. Whenever your skin feels particularly irritated or dry, this essence can be your go-to for immediate relief.
You can use this mugwort essence daily in the place of your toner or serum, or use it when you're experiencing skin irritation or dryness and need something more soothing.
Is this korean mugwort toner also good for sensitive skin?
