Osaka T&T (update from Jan 2023): This store has more color cosmetics now! And less crowded than the Landsdowne location. They have 3CE eyeshadow palettes (and a decent selection of lippies) in All Nighter, Dry Bouquet and Overtake (love this one!). Also in stock is Too Cool For School shading palettes, Etude House Loacker Berry Eyeshadow, Vanilla Eyeshadow, Napo blush, and only 2 tints. I’m really excited because they are also stocking AMORTALS makeup puffs (these are amazing), and some UNNY Club (a few individual eyelash boxes too)!
*Thanks to KY Trading LTD at perfectskinstation.com for this info, they are a wholesaler based in Richmond BC!
Tokyo Beauty - Metrotown, Aberdeen, Richmond Centre
This is an update from one of the comments below! Tokyo Beauty at Metrotown has 3ce (even lower price than T&T!) plus some sunscreen options as well!
Tokyo Beauty at Aberdeen Mall: Huge selection of Japanese skincare and select cosmetic products, including the Uzu Flowfushi Liners, new mascara, lipsticks. There is also a selection of medicines, home goods as well.I find that the prices are little higher when compared to online sometimes, but you might find a better selection of Japanese products in store.
Tokyo Beauty is also in Richmond Center Mall across from the Apple Store (a bit smaller than the Aberdeen location but a decent selection of items too - they have a better Canmake selection as of April 2022). While you’re in Richmond Center Mall - you can also browse the Sephora (they have more asian skincare brands) and also The Face Shop + Sulwhasoo store!
Kat from previous comments mentioned: Tokyo Beauty at Metrotown has 3CE (lower prices than T&T)! And various sunscreens as well.
OOMOMO - Formerly Daiso in Aberdeen and Yokoyaya
Yokoyaya in Tinseltown is the sister store to Daiso (now both called OOMOMO) so they carry similar products - but the Richmond OOMOMO in the past year has REALLY stepped up their game. I’ll include some of what they have below but seriously they have ALOT of stuff now:
Huge selection of Japanese and Korean skincare
Round Lab
Skin1004 (Multiple lines)
Kose SEKKISEI
Dr Ceuracle
Biore
Hada Labo
Torriden
Purito
Benton
One Thing
They also seemed to have some Rom&nd Juicy tints but all sold out
In stock are the Rom&nd eye shadows and blushes
Lots of lashes
Lots of liners, mascara
Kate brand cosmetics
OOMOMO also carries an assortment of masks, cotton squares, cotton buds, although the prices have gone up significantly lately (I now mostly purchase the Muji cotton squares).
Side note: The snacks here are really great - If you like chips you have to try the Calbee pizza chips!
Kiseki in Surrey - Guildford
I haven’t personally been here yet but have been seeing this come up on TikTok! This store carries a wide selection of J and K Beauty brands like:
Beauty of Joseon
Axis-Y
Cosrx
SKIN1004
Roundlab
Mediheal toner pads!!
Tunemakers
Shiseido
Curel
Decorte
SKII
Pyunkang Yul
Goodal
I’m From
Crystal Mall
There's a couple cube stores here that carry various popular asian products. Honestly though Crystal Mall has been disappointing the last few times I’ve been, you’ll find better prices and selection online or in Richmond.
Dollywink
Missha
Iope
Hera
Kiss Me eyeliners, mascara
SANA New Born eyebrow pencils
Aberdeen Mall Makeup Stores
Aritaum has a store here that carries:
Aritaum
SULWHASOO
Laneige
Iope korean bb creams
Tony Moly has its own store in the mall
There’s one store at the bottom level called Thinka that carries really affordable synthetic makeup brushes, false eyelashes (the ones made in Taiwan), and makeup sponges!
Foody World Richmond
Yup this one’s an unexpected one lol, you know you really love asian beauty when you’re hunting products down at grocery stores.
They’ve got a really great selection of:
Dollywink false lashes (#9, 10, 1, 2, 11, 17, 24, 22, 26, 25)
Miche Bloomin falsies (#14, 18, 11, 18, 01, 12, 31, 25, 37, 41, 30)
Fiberwig mascara
DHC lip balm
Leanani premium mascaras (never tried, first time I’ve seen this brand)
Love Liner
Kiss Me liners, mascaras
Eyelid tape and glues etc
The Face Shop
Pacific Centre, Richmond and Metropolis's The Face Shop has a variety of their own line of cosmetics and various branded skincare items plus some of the Belif products.
Sephora
The Sephora at PC carries:
Shu Uemura
Laneige
Dr Jart
Amore Pacific
Sephora Richmond carries Sulwhasoo
Walmart
Huge surprise. Select Walmarts now carry various Korean skincare brands. At the Port Coquitlam Walmart, I’ve seen
Cosrx - a big selection of their Good Morning Cleanser, their Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser, Oil-Free Lotion among other popular products
Innisfree - only their green tea line
Marshalls & Winners (select)
Winners and Marshall visits are hit and miss, sometimes they’ll have the best prices on asian skincare products, masks, tools. But then usually it’s just a stray product or a random set or two so you just have to be careful they haven’t been tampered with. I had a wedding makeup client find huge jars of the Soon Jung 2x Barrier Cream for super cheap before at the broadway Winners.
Online Stores For Asian Skincare and Makeup
Here are my top recommendations for online purchases:
1) I always tend to check Amazon first just in case they have better prices! BUT DEFINITELY CHECK FOR OFFICIAL SELLERS! I’ve had clients accidentally purchase inauthentic products on Amazon before! (It should be fulfilled by Amazon or offered by an official brand store), be careful and read shop reviews before committing!
For example, OOMOMO (carries Rom&nd) has their official store linked here, Klairs has their official store on Amazon here, and I’m from’s official store is here.
2) My go-to online shop to order from is: Stylevana. They have a huge selection of korean and japanese skincare and makeup and are my go-to if I can’t find something in stores or just looking for price comparisons. They usually are always cheaper than any other shop and carry all the brands mentioned above like COSRX, Beauty of Joseon, IUNIK, Isntree, Purito, Etude House, 3CE, Peripera, Romand Makeup etc! Free shipping in Canada over $85 is really nice as well and is a bit of a lower minimum than YesStyle:).* The only downside is that it takes about 3 weeks to arrive and their customer service is non-existent :(.
3) YesStyle has a wider selection of both korean and japanese makeup and skincare products, if you can’t find anything from Amazon or StyleVana they will probably have it (they carry Beauty of Joseon, COSRX, Isntree, Canmake, Etude House and Pony Makeup too)! Shipping is at an atrocious 4 weeks or so but they usually have 10%-15% off deals and various coupon codes going on so watch for those as they will be better deals than what you can find on Amazon or StyleVana.*
4) New addition: Dew Beauty is based in Vancouver, BC and is an online shop specializing in K-beauty products. They offer a curated selection of popular authentic products catering to various skin types and concerns (Abib, Anua, Goodal, Numbuzin, Mixsoon, etc they also carry my favourite Aestura and Etude House moisturizers too)!
The best part is their fast customer service and shipping! Once your order is placed, it typically takes 1-3 business to ship out but only 1-5 Business Days for standard delivery times. Last time I ordered, I received my items in about 4 business days!!
5) From previous comments: Sukoshimart has the lowest minimum for free shipping in Canada (CAD $65) and has a pretty good selection of kbeauty products from COSRX, Abib, Beauty of Joseon, Benton, Isntree, iUNIK, Jumiso and more. They have a student discount available as well.
6) I’ve heard good things about Chuusi - the pricing on Cosrx products are sometimes better than Amazon on here. They sometimes have better prices than YesStyle and definitely faster shipping times since their warehouse is based in Vancouver.
7) From previous comments: Mikaela Beauty has a decent selection of brands and offer free shipping in CAN for orders above $65.
8) New from comments: SokoGlam has free shipping in Canada for orders over $75. They carry Then I Met You products!
9)Tersono mentioned from previous comments: Bellbees (bellbees.ca) and Wandershop (wandershop.ca) have actually had the best prices on certain items and brands of any shop I've found anywhere in Canada. Great choices if they happen to have what you're looking for.
Did you like this list? Let me know if I've missed anything in the comments below and what your asian beauty picks are! :)
