Shiseido White Lucent Anti-Dark Circles Eye Cream Review

If you're looking for something that truly works for brightening up those undereyes, you'll want to keep reading! Today we'll be reviewing the Shiseido White Lucent Anti-Dark Circles Eye Cream in-depth.

Shiseido White Lucent Anti-Dark Circles Eye Cream

Quick facts:

Formulation: Paraben-free, Sulfate-free

Texture: An emollient eye cream that isn’t too stick or too thick

Scent: Pleasant scent from the floral fragrance ingredients

Where to buy: Amazon, Sephora, Shiseido main website

Price: $65 USD

Main pros: The texture of this cream is perfect for nighttime use or daytime under makeup, it's hydrating but not greasy or too thick (I am prone to milia). After I've gotten halfway through the jar - I can say I do see a difference in my undereyes. The darkness isn't as dark (although this hasn't improved it completely).

Cons: Even though this has helped the appearance of my undereyes, I feel like I would still need concealer to fully cover up my dark circles. So then I'm not sure if the price would justify the small improvement.

My verdict: 7/10. It is one of the only eye creams for dark circles that has worked for me. But because of the price point, it did not make it to my all time favourites list.

About the Shiseido White Lucent Anti-Dark Circles Eye Cream

Product claims/benefits

  • Intensive eye cream that targets major causes of dark circles under eyes
  • Smooth over the delicate eye area to help combat visible signs of aging, fatigue and dehydration.

Enhance radiance and brightness around the eyes

This is an intensive eye cream that specifically targets the major causes of dark circles under eyes: pigmentation and poor microcirculation. Blue and brown dark circles are visibly reduced over time for a youthful look. This eye cream also is supposed to combat visible signs of aging, fatigue and dehydration (although my caffeine consumption is likely working harder in the opposite direction...haha).

Dermatologist-Tested. Ophthalmologist-tested.

Which eye cream actually works for dark circles?

The Shiseido White Lucent Anti-Dark Circles Eye Cream actually works for my purple-ish dark circles. It took around a month of consistent use to see a small but noticeable improvement. I'm about almost done with my 15ml jar now.

In the product description, it says it specifically targets the major causes of dark circles under eyes: pigmentation and poor microcirculation. Blue and brown dark circles are visibly reduced over time for a youthful look.

My Final Thoughts: Shiseido White Lucent Anti-Dark Circles Eye Cream Review Verdict

In short, I love that I've finally found something that works on my dark circles! But it hasn't diminished them dramatically so I'm not sure if I could justify the repurchase. So regrettably it will not make my all-time favourites list.

Let me know if you've found this review useful or if there's another treatment that you've been eyeing for brightening the under eyes, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
