If you have normal to dry skin and are looking a lightweight, simple eye cream - this is for you!
Keep on reading for the full Tatcha The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream review - this is a lovely balm to cream product that would make a great addition to your skincare routine. It's perfect to go under makeup and provides just the right amount of hydration without feeling too heavy.
Quick facts:
Makeup Alley Rating: 4/5 out of 4 reviews
Formulated without: Fragrance
Potential irritants: Fragrance (non-synthetic)
Application: The balm melts into the skin when applied leaving the under eye looking smooth and refreshed. The balm is thin and light ensuring there is no sticky residue left behind and is not too heavy on the skin.
Price: $62 USD for full size
Where to purchase: Sephora(I purchased from here), Tatcha.com
Scent: Very light floral scent
Packaging: Off-white pot featuring a gold peony on the lid. For the purposes of this review I purchased the mini 5ml size, but the regular size is 15ml.
Main pros: This eye cream is moisturizing yet lightweight enough for the under eyes. It wears well under makeup. I am prone to milia and this was not too heavy for me.
Main cons: The product contains fragrance, as well as citral, limonene (which I've read can make the skin sensitive to sunlight) - so use this in the evenings!

Wrapping up this Tatcha eye cream review
I've tried both the Tatcha Dewy Cream and The Water Cream and this silk peony eye cream seems to be a perfect pairing to either one of the facial cream products. It's light but still very moisturizing and sits really well under makeup.
I have yet to much anti aging results from this eye cream though besides basic hydration - so I'm not sure if I'd purchase the full size! If you've used it or have found something really similar - comment below!
Cheers,
